Fish Commission Seeks Angler Access

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is eager to buy fishing access on rivers and streams in Blair and Huntingdon counties. It is specifically seeking easement agreements with private landowners on the Little Juniata River, Juniata River, and Frankstown Branch of the Juniata River to protect the public’s right to access those waterways to fish. The fish and boat commission was one of three state agencies that successfully sued Donny Beaver and the Spring Ridge Club over their efforts to prevent anglers from fishing the Little Juniata. For more on the easement program, landowners should call the commission’s Jackie Kramer at 717-705-7845 or visit http://www.fishandboat.com/
